Populate each cross-section of the matrix.
Provide a 15- to 30-word explanation of how control is assigned between the Cloud Service Provider (CSP) and the client.
Discuss issues and concerns for each section as it relates to the client. Your entrees should have specific details that differentiate the three types of service levels.
Submit your presentation.
Option 2: Website Cloud Weighted Decision Matrix
You have been tasked to develop a website to manage employee event registration. Employees sign up on the website and register for specific events maintained by the site. You decide to build your website entirely in the cloud.
Research on the Internet a minimum of three cloud service providers (e.g. Amazon Web Services, Microsoft® Azure®, IBM’s SoftLayer, RackSpace, Salesforce.com, or any other provider offering well-defined API to their services).
Compare and contrast the three cloud service providers’ capabilities in terms of reliability, price, support, security, on-demand self-services, and elasticity.
Review the Weighted Decision Matrix Example spreadsheet for a sample of how to create your matrix.
Create a weighted decision matrix based on the information collected on cloud service providers.
